The third and final full Wonder Woman trailer finally sheds some light on the villains of the movie.

Wonder Woman has been around for 75 years, but somehow hasn’t made it to a movie screen in a movie of her own yet. That’s all about to change in 2017 when Patty Jenkins directs Gal Gadot as the most famous Amazon warrior in pop culture history when the Wonder Woman movie finally arrives, with a script by Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns.

A brand new trailer arrived at the MTV Movie Awards, and it is positively full of big revelations.

We’ve got our first scene clip from Wonder Woman, which gives us more of the scene that sees Diana saving Steve Trevor from bad guys in a London alley. We’re digging the humor and general badassery of this scene. Also, how Steve is not threatened at all by Diana saving the day. Check it out…

The big mystery so far has been who the heck the villain of the movie is supposed to be. This is the first time we’ve officially heard the name “Dr. Poison” in any of the marketing. This is a version of a character who is almost as old as Wonder Woman herself, as she first appeared in Sensation Comics #2 in 1942. She’s not alone, though…

Ares is definitely also one of the baddies in the movie and it seems the character might be split between his earthly form (played by Danny Huston) and the motion capture, CGI version, apparently played by David Thewlis (Professor Lupin from the Harry Potter series).
